Gideon is a set and costume designer working internationally across theatre, opera and dance. Gideon trained at Nottingham Polytechnic.

The hilly decor of Gideon Davey follows the cycle of nature with its leaves in Act 1, the snow in Act 2, the green grass in Act 3; it allows all the sliding and diving into holes, but also suggests a whole poetic universe. In between anthropomorphism and realism, the animal costumes suggest foxes and the backyard without using masks; this is a virtuoso to be savoured, and is especially touching. The look is neither too sentimental nor too ironic.”
