Godiva Rocks (Belgrade Theatre, Coventry)

*** The Reviews Hub

Libby Watson's set does a good job of evoking the atmosphere of the periods, with The Orchid set at the centre, with the 1964 action typically taking place behind a printed semi-transparent curtain.

A Midsummer Night's Dream (New Wolsey, Ipswich)

*** The Stage

Libby Watson's magnificent set and costumes incorporate both colonial majesty and woodland mystery, with neon fairies glowing within a rustic world.

**** The Guardian

Libby Watson's design allows the action to shift easily from the pillared splendour of a colonial palace to the misty strangeness of the wood.

Lady Anna All At Sea (Park Theatre)

***** The Express

Libby Waston's simple set of parchment coloured piles of books that do service as chairs and tables as well as stepping stones for Bolton Anney, is a model of economic design.

Sweet Charity (New Wolsey Theatre)

The stage design by Libby Watsonis simple and stylish........her collaboration with Peter Rowe to realise the lake in the park is inspired.
The Stage

The History Boys (Belgrade, Conventry)

****

The 1980s Sheffield grammar school setting is adorned in Libby Watson's design with neon signs blinking a garish promise of future possibilities: "Live the dream", exhorts one: "Hold on tight," winks another.

The Times

Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune (Minerva Theatre, Chichester)

...with its warm humanity, abrasive wit and subdued sense of desolation, it sidesteps both sitcom archness and soapy sentimentality. The Times

**** The Daily Express **** The Telegraph **** The Times

Rudy's Rare Records (Birmingham Repertory Theatre)

..gales of laughter and a standing ovation from a singing-along audience suggest that this Hackney Empire co-production could enjoy the kind of success Stratford East had with The Harder They Come.
